Insurance Restoration Process
Steps In Restoring Your Home
An SBG Home Exteriors representative will conduct a home inspection to assess the extent of damage to your roof, siding, gutters, windows, and the interior of your home. Damage? Contact your insurance company to initiate a claim. Once you have the insurance paperwork, SBG Home Exteriors’ insurance claims specialist will reach out to your Insurance Adjuster assigned to the claim to address any questions they may have regarding SBG Home Exteriors’ estimate. We will now commence the restoration process as your representative. If necessary, SBG Home Exteriors will arrange a meeting with the Adjuster at your home to highlight the full extent of the damage.
Once we receive approval from your insurance company: A) The Insurance Adjuster will instruct your insurance company to issue a check for at least half of the total project cost. B) While you wait for your payment, you and your SBG Home Exteriors representative will select construction materials, colors, and other relevant details.
After choosing your building/construction supplies, our production manager will order the materials and schedule the work to be done on your home, as well as assign management crews.
Once everything is prepared, you and our representative will thoroughly review the Inspection Checklist together to ensure that everything has been completed to your satisfaction.
Upon completing the work on your home, we will invoice your insurance company for the remaining balance due for the project. When you receive the final payment from your insurance company, our representative will visit your home to collect the check and perform a final inspection to ensure your complete satisfaction with the results.

Storm Damage Information for Homeowners:
The exterior of your home can endure significant wear and tear during the frequent and intense storms that are common. Windstorms, and hail storms in particular, have the potential to cause substantial damage to your roof, siding, gutters, and windows. Hailstones exceeding 0.75 inches in diameter can lead to granule loss on your roof and result in dents and dings on vinyl and aluminum siding. At SBG Home Exteriors, we have a team of experienced experts ready to conduct a thorough inspection of your home to assess any weather-related damage..
